Douglas A. Waltman, CPA is a member of Hamilton, Waltman, Hill, & Obenour LLC CPAs. Doug has practiced public accounting in the Zanesville area since 1975. He resides in Zanesville with his wife Carla. They have five grown children.
Born in Zanesville, Doug graduated from Zanesville High School and the University of Cincinnati with a BS in Business Administration. He received his CPA Certificate in 1978.
Doug’s practice emphasis is in the area of attestation engagements including compilations, reviews, audits, and agreed-upon procedures; taxation for individuals businesses, non-profits, trusts, and estates; oil and gas processing; accounting; bookkeeping; consulting; management advisory services for small businesses including new businesses, business acquisition, and succession planning; and payroll services. Doug specializes in non-profit and financial institution audits.
Doug is very active in the local community. He is currently a Member of the Board of Directors of the Community Bank and a Past President of the Zanesville Daybreak Rotary. He has previously held positions as President of the Zanesville Downtown Kiwanis, President & Treasurer of the Zanesville Soccer Boosters, member of the Riverside Outdoor Soccer Association, and Treasurer of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Doug is also a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, The Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce, Grace United Methodist Church, and the Zanesville Country Club.
In his free time, Doug enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with the grandchildren.
